MusingBicycle

After growing sick of the same posts on the front page, I decided to freshen up the place.

For the first time this season, I went for a bicycle on Sunday morning. The weather has not been cooperating lately, and we've had a spell of cold and wet days. Sunday started sunny and cool. I grabbed an early breakfast, took the dogs out, and decided to hit the road.

A few weeks ago, I installed a bike rack for the garage. My bicycle hangs about eight feet off the ground over where I park my Prius. I quickly realized that I hung it too high, as the bicycle pump didn't reach the tires. No big deal. I brought the bike down and pumped up the dreadfully flat tires. I rolled the bicycle outside and leaned it against the garage. I went back for my biking equipment and saddled up.

Doolies waved at me from the study window, and I took off, slowly working my way down and around the island.
